Asaba Business Community was established by Ada Onwubiko in 2020 with the mission of empowering local businesses by providing opportunities to increase sales, build valuable connections, and collaborate effectively.

Our platform is designed to help you get referrals and close deals without the need to personally know anyone in Asaba, Nigeria. Since our inception, we've evolved into a dynamic organization, now supported by a talented team of six members, each bringing unique skills to the table. We've grown to become a key resource for up to 1,000 business owners in Asaba, offering a strong network that fosters growth and success.

We regularly host physical events, with some attracting over 400 entrepreneurs in one setting, providing unmatched opportunities for networking and business development. In 2021, we hosted a significant event where 150 business owners came together for our special hangout. This gathering was designed to foster connections, encourage collaboration, and provide ample networking opportunities among entrepreneurs in the city of Asaba. The event was a resounding success, offering a platform for participants to share ideas, explore potential partnerships, and build relationships that could propel their businesses forward. In 2022, we took our efforts to the next level by expanding our reach and hosting an even larger event with 300 business owners in attendance. This event not only provided a platform for networking, collaboration, and business growth but also recognized excellence within our community. We proudly awarded several vendors who had excelled in their respective fields, celebrating their achievements and contributions to the Asaba business ecosystem. These awards were a testament to the hard work and dedication of our members, highlighting the remarkable talent and innovation within our community. The event was a milestone in our journey, reinforcing our commitment to supporting and elevating local businesses. In 2023, we continued our growth trajectory by hosting our largest event yet, bringing together 356 vendors for an incredible day of connection, collaboration, and celebration. This event was not just about networking; it was a dynamic space where business owners could forge new partnerships, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for mutual growth. In recognition of the dedication and hard work of our members, we once again took the time to honor those who had made significant strides in their industries. Awards were presented to outstanding vendors who had demonstrated exceptional performance and innovation in their fields. This recognition was a testament to the thriving entrepreneurial spirit within our community and reinforced our mission to support and uplift local businesses in Asaba. The 2023 event solidified our reputation as a cornerstone of business networking and development in the region, furthering our commitment to helping local entrepreneurs succeed.

2024

In 2024, we took a big step forward by seeking partnerships and sponsorships to further support our community. We were thrilled to partner with well-known brands like Pancake Nigeria, Amadiva Bridals, BD Photons, Freshstart Interior Academy, IkeBest Technology, Grill House, Kidessence Kiddies Store, and Korrect Logistics. This year’s event was our largest yet, bringing together 400 business owners for a day of networking, collaboration, and celebration. One of the highlights was our business pitch competition, where three businesses that excelled in their presentations were awarded funds to help grow their ventures. We also recognized and rewarded the Entrepreneurs of the Year, honoring those who had shown exceptional innovation and consistent success throughout the previous year. These partnerships and awards not only helped to elevate the event but also reinforced our commitment to supporting the entrepreneurial spirit in Asaba. By connecting our members with these respected brands and providing financial support to deserving businesses, we continue to build a strong, thriving business community in the city.

Adaeze Onwubiko

A dynamic entrepreneur and the founder of the Asaba Business Community, an initiative she launched to uplift and empower local vendors in her city. Through this platform, she has created a supportive environment where business owners can connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects that drive their success.

Owns Nerych Integrated Services, a business that provides food for events and supplies food items in bulk. She also runs a cooperative savings group with over 150 business owners as members. Additionally, she leads the Growth Gurus team for Asaba vendors.

Owns Christabel Collections, a brand that offers clothing, shoes, bags, and household essentials. She also owns Strawberry, a popular popcorn brand. She currently leads the Verification team.

Currently heads the VISIONARIES. He is the founder and owner of DJ Finest Entertainment Empire, a prominent name in the local entertainment scene, renowned for organizing the best after-parties in town. his ability to create unforgettable experiences has earned him a loyal follwing and solidified his reputation as a top event host. in addition to his work in entertainment, he has succssfully ventured into the business of selling electrical parts, demostrating his entrepreneurial spirit and versatility accross different industries. His passion for both entertainment and business continues to drive in success.
